Cold Steel Peace Keeper 1 (Japan)

Up for sale is a Cold Steel Peace Keeper 1 (made in Japan). Has never been used, still pristine and sharp from factory. Sheath has a bit of wear, but nothing serious.

Not sure what the steel is here. I believe the AUS8A came with a cordura sheath, and the 4116 and 420 models were made in Taiwan, so I'm unsure of steel. Any direction would be appreciated.

Being made in Japan, it is definitely the AUS8A, but is a bit odd that it has the Concealex sheath. For some reason, the last couple years that both the Carbon V and AUS8A models were still available, the CV models changed to Concealex, while the AUS8A models stayed with the Cordura (according to the catalogs anyway). In this case, maybe it originally shipped with the wrong sheath, or maybe a previous owner liked the Concealex better and bought one as a replacement from CS.
