Cold Steel's.....T-Rip?

There is a pretty young though nicely developed young lady in Cold Steel's YouTube videos over the past year. Anyone else noticed the eye candy? I think "Stickman" referred to her as "T-Rip." Even for Cold Steel these names are too much. Is she related to Thompson? It seems strange to me at least that CS would go out of their way to hire a teen model just to hustle blades but I suppose that isn't impossible given the very motivated advertising in CS since the takeover. When I saw this for the first time recently I assumed it was good ol' nepotism.
 
Being that the new line of MTech... errrrr.... I mean Razor Tek line is overpriced one can only assume they gotta pay higher wages to the salespeople.
 
Somebody please tell me that "Stickman" isn't the same as Stickgunner Stickgunner on Bladeforums here that signs his posts as "StickMan."
 
One half of me sees a beautiful girl, the other half sees the destruction of a legendary brand by some greedy CEO's thinking "sex sells" and that some hot chick is going to make us forget about rising prices and quality decline.

I love the eye candy just the same as you other guys, but in this case here, I would much prefer seeing Lynn slashing pigs and slabs of meat 😄

How about watching HER slashing pigs and slabs of meat? Best of both worlds, perhaps.
 
I agree with Chris, the new crew are salespeople. Just think about what these videos would be like if Lynn wasn't in them - just mall ninja advertising.

Hmmm.... she seems to be wielding bladeware a lot better there. Better than I could do, I think. Maybe there's more than just good looks to her.

If swinging for the fence is good technique then sure, but to me it looked both bad and dangerous. These aren't toys and they shouldn't be treated like they are.

ok to me like she was swinging a Louisville slugger in that one. Or, at least in most swings. I may have missed something, though. I'm also not a swordsman, so I'm not qualified to critique if it isn't an obvious bat-swing.
 
Watching Lynn really makes me want to buy a sword that I don't need. Watching the young woman makes me hope she doesn't read these posts, and I'm happy that she probably has what is a dope job for her - I hope she's getting paid well, since GSM is using her for sex appeal, and that she's being smart with her money. F*CK GSM.
