What happened? Why aren't they in production anymore? Why has someone not picked up the company if they went under? Its a product that I know a lot of people will buy.

About 30 seconds worth of a Google search showed they were bought by Bravo Company, so you might want to email them and find out.

Just out of curiosity, how do you know a lot of people will buy them? There are better designs out there.

I've looked up some information I am just curious why they are not being produced anymore and to my knowledge they are not.

I think they were a good defense tool for a fair price. I can not think of a better alternative for the price the ka-bar is alright I do not think it is as good. If you have a better alternative for under $100 I would love to hear it.

Once again, I'd email the company and see what they say. That will be the definitive word on what's happening.

It seems this company is continually sold out, leaving me to assume they are out of business. They may have had a great product but without availability it’s a waist of time. It speaks volumes as to the availability of any customer service, at all. Like EVERTHING else it’s Covid’s fault (sic) right!
I too got tired of waiting and bought the KaBar version of the item. Seems if work fine. Several companies have copied the basic design of the knife and have them in stock ready to ship. Whatever the reason, I expect to hear nothing from this company at this point. Doesn't matter if it was the greatest thing in the world. It’s unavailability makes it worthless compared to ANYTHING. I know several guys who wanted them, everyone gave up and bought something else. Terrible business model.

I've been doing some digging and found out there was actually a lawsuit from Colonel Blades about their original blade design being stolen and rebranded as different knives from other companies. There's a legal complaint to be found online here that sort of explains what happened: https://www.scribd.com/document/400248805/Salvitti-v-Lascelles-Complaint. It wasn't too hard to find, just Googled the Colonel Blades guy's name. Interesting stuff.

It wouldn't let me read the whole article, but from what little I saw it looks like this guy Lascelles is the bad guy. Wondering how this all turns (or has turned) out.

It's so much fun wading through our legal system🤪.

Oh yeah from what I read it seems like he's a liar and a cheat and really screwed over Colonel Blades. It's honestly a shame. And you said it! The system is a mess! But apparently they're still fighting Lascelles so hopefully he gets what's coming to him. I just love researching and digging up dirt lol, but if you still happen to be interested in the matter, you can Google Salvitti v. Lascelles and there's lots of info on it. Also found this site here which summarizes the events well: https://dockets.justia.com/docket/pennsylvania/paedce/2:2019cv00696/553323

You'll have to get the full story here. https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg...v-00696/pdf/USCOURTS-paed-2_19-cv-00696-5.pdf. The plaintiffs had their butts handed to them and didn't have a case against Lascelles. The case was closed in 2023 in favor of the defendants. The plaintiffs decided to start a poser brand to colonel blades and aren't allowed to use anything related to Colonel Blades.
