Hey kershaw and zt guys

I am getting a zt551 tomorrow and i was searching the interwebz for pictures of different color G-10 scales on these knives. I am very interested in "colorful" handles. Can you guys post some pics of these scales? Also i will post pics here when mine arrives!

I really love the 0550/0551 design and recently got the Hinderer/MonkeyEdge Frag scale in blue for my 0550.......:D :cool:

The frag scale was an exclusive for MonkeyEdge thru the Hinderer shop, from what I understand. However, if you prefer the G10 scale pattern that's on the XM series, you can order those through the Hinderer shop directly. Although I like the XM texture, they were out of the blue scales so I went with the frag pattern instead, but I'm not disappointed in the least since both styles are made by the Hinderer shop and are top notch. I might go ahead and pick up a Hinderer scale later on just to add more variety. :D

Either way, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. :thumbup: :thumbup:

I didn't know these were so easy to customize like that. Lots of colors. I just bought my 301, but I may just have to buy one of these too.
 
My translucent green scale just showed up over the weekend. I will put it on tonight and take somep pictures. Great to be able to modify these knives a little.
 
Hello. First post on bladeforums.com. I just got a 0550 and was wondering how these scales felt compared to the stock scale? I don't really care for the sharpness of the oblong cutouts on the stock one.

Just ordered a blue one for one of my 0550's after seeing the picture above. That's a combo I didn't think I'd like until I saw it.
