Colossus 1

Yesterday I received my new Colossus 1, and I couldn't be more satisfied with a knife. She's a brute! At first, I thought they were ridiculous, and couldn't see the purpose for such a knife. But apparently they are discontinued, and when I spotted one on a blow-out clearance sale, I took the bait. Time will tell how much I actually carry the knife or even use it. But I can't seem to put it down. This is often the case with a new knife, but this one is different. The execution is flawless, and it is truly a thing of beauty. It just feels so good in the hand with the weight-forward balance. I'm impressed. Thank you, Cold Steel! Anyone else out there love theirs?

I was surprised by mine also. It looks too bulky to carry but it's surprisingly light and fits in a jean pocket pretty well. That blade is an amazing slicer also.

Mine is on display but it could certainly be carried comfortably in cargo pants.
