I currently have 2 of the Musashi Bamboo Katanas. They are made of 1060 steel hardened to 58-60 Rc

the Cold Steel Warrior is made of 1055 steel and is hardened to 58-60 RC

I'm wondering if the Musashi blade will stand up to the same level of punishment that i have seen cold steel demonstrate on their blades

Thoughts?

As I recall, the cold steel katanas are spring-tempered and the mushashi is differentially-hardened.

I can't speak to either of those blades, but I can shed some light on steel specs: there's more to performance than final hardness, steel choice, and whether or not it's differentially hardened. You can do a crap job on heat treat and end up with rc 59-60 and have a crap blade, or you can do a great job on heat treat and end up with rc 59-60 and have a great blade. I have no idea how good Musashi's heat treat is, but from what I hear Cold Steel does a pretty goo And the difference between 1055 and 1060, even when everything is done right, isn't going to be very noticeable.

Cold Steel pieces are overbuilt, and are therefore technically tougher, but they tend to handle like baseball bats rather than swords.
