I've been searching all over the interwebz for an review on the Condor Moonshiner. I've not seen much on it. I want to splurge a bit and get one for my birthday. I've done as much research as I can do on the knife, however being that it is still new to the market I've not found many reviews for it. I know Condor makes good, affordable stuff. I know 1075 is good steal. I am just wondering if anyone has had any experience with it. IF you have could you possibly share your knowledge, likes, dislikes...stuff like that? I'd be very appreciative.

For you time and any responses I get, in advance, I give you my thanks.

Already seen the review. He was going to do another review of it after some more field testing, but my birthday is approaching fast, and I don't want to have to way longer to see if he may or may not put up a video about it. I know I'm a tad impatient but I really don't get to spend money on myself very often. After someone stole my other Bowie style knife a few years ago, I'm been itching for another one. Hence me reaching out to the community to see if anyone had any thoughts/ experiences with it. If I'm going to spend money on something I like to know what I am getting myself into.

I don't have any experience with the Moonshiner in particular, but Condor runs their 1075 a bit soft for my taste. There are better knives out there for the money, IMO. I'd pick up a KaBar USMC near that price point, or one of the Cold Steel machetes if you're planning on using it for bushwhacking. Or for around $90-100 you can get a Becker BK9, which is a seriously excellent large chopper - one of the best I've used at any price point.

I was not familiar with the Condor Moonshiner. I really like the clean lines. I may have to get one to play with.

Can't recommend one way or the other, but I have been very pleased overall with Condor knives/blades. So I am inclined to think it is probably a good one. The Kabar Becker BK-9 would be a sound alternative for a bit more mula.

I already have a Becker BK2, so not interested in the KaBar USMC. As for the BK9, it's $60 more then the Moonshiner. With the BK9, I'd have to get a new sheath, strip the coating, and get micarta handscales, all of which would put the cost of that knife well over $200. As for Cold Steel, they don't have a 9 inch blade that is around $40-50 price range. I do appreciate your thoughts though.

"Have to" is a bit of a strong term there. I found the stock handle and sheath to be adequate for my needs, but to each their own.

Condors are certainly solid enough knives for the money. If you do pick it up, let us know how it works out for you - we don't hear a ton about Condor knives around here. Make sure to take some pics during use!

Well I used have to because I prefer a more traditional look. But I will definitely share my thoughts on the knife when I pick it up. Luckily I live in a state where I can EDC a 9 inch blade.

Why would you want to EDC a 9" blade? What do you cut on a regular basis that requires that long of a blade? It may be legal in TN now, but is it sensible other than when you're out away from "civilization"?

Of all the Condors I have purchased, I have been the least satisfied with one of their neck knives. Just seemed like that screwed up the heat treat and it is a bear to sharpen. I am a big Condor machete fan.
