My first Congress arrived yesterday!

Maybe I missed it, but I searched and didn’t see a recent Congress thread and didn’t want to dig up an old one.

Here’s my new 1995 Camillus-made Buck 322 in black sawcut Delrin. They also made it in yellow. It was a SMKW exclusive for that one year only.

I would love to see more Congress patterns…

My only Congress was a gift from the exceptionally generous glennbad glennbad

I loved getting the 2013 Forum Knife. It was from before my time on the Porch, but it was always my favorite looking forum knife.

Love a good Congress pattern! They look like they shouldn’t feel good in the hand, but they somehow do. And more blades is always fun! Here’s the few I’ve got. I’d really like to hunt down a nice old Schrade Congress one of these days too.

This GEC 61 is a beast with some thick stag.

The Winchester whittler is much nicer in the pocket, very slim.

These two GECs are whittler configurations. A 13 and a 62 respectively.

The tobacco chewers knife (lore attributes the pattern as being designed in Sheffield to be sold in the old American South for folks cutting plugs of tobacco). One of my longest owned is this Solingen Boker 5464. Old pictures, and staged - I don’t chew! OH

A couple of Camillus made Congress knives. The Rimfire Classic, a Half-Congress was a gift from an old Marine on another knife forum, I hold this one dear for that reason. The Yellow Jacket is the same frame as your Buck Congress, it has both a serrated main blade and a standard main blade. I bought it as a stand-in for the Buck Congress (which has eluded me over the years) - you are fortunate to have found one, they are highly sought after by Buck 300 series collectors. OH

Case SC64052 Congress, from a limited release set in 1993; the tang was stamped with a Roman numeral date in lieu of the dots or actual date as was used in 1990-1993. I know very little about the set and the other knives in it, but was glad to come across this one for sale separately. Second Cut stag handles with an unusual pattern, one of a variety of patterns of second cut stag Case has experimented with over the years. OH

Wow, I really like the idea of a serrated blade on a congress. Great knife.

Stunning ! I like every thing in this knife. Blades, bolsters, stag covers. The proportions are very elegant. The ideal Congress knife. Thanks for sharing.

Dan.

Thank you Dan!

GEC 130217 Office Knife, gift from a Blade Forums member several years ago - this one stays on my desk and gets frequent use for opening mail and for trimming tags (I tie my leaders on my desk, good light and a stable top). OH
