I have been playing around with a new pack that has the capability of being used as a chest pack like the Hill People Gear Kit bag or Kifaru Koala.

It's called he Torba Mini and is made by Sarma Custom Made out of Israel. That bag is unique because it can be worn like a satchel over the shoulder or around the waist or as a chest pack. It's pretty unique.

Thanks for the review this bag and their larger one has been on my EBay watch list for as long as I can remember, it maybe time to pull the trigger on one.

It looks heavy.

I always think it is strange when heavy gear is recommended for "survival".

It does look like a nice little organization bag, though.

I just saw the price of this bag on EBay. I know you say it is a nice bag but is it $125 nice?

The quality is pretty impressive and each bag is hand made for the customer. The quality is right up there with Kifaru, Mystery Ranch, TAD gear, for what you get it's impressive plus shipping is free.

As far as it being a "survival" bag that's what I called it. It really is a small light edc bag, but because of the multiple ways to carry, it can be used for a variety of different roles. In the video I have it strapped to my truck seat and use it as a bag I can grab and go. It holds a full size pistol and some small items nicely. Very similar to the Hill People Gear Kit Bag and around the same price. It's an alternative method to carry small items.

I dont carry this around all day. For me it's more of bail out bag or grab and go item. And heavy is a relative term. I found it to be pretty light for what it can hold.

It is a neat bag with a lot of capacity and organization. What is your loaded weight?

For many years while hunting and hiking, I carried a Swiss army medical bag. It was similar sized and I added interior pockets inside the front and back panels for organization. But it lacked stiffness unless fully packed. So I inserted a bottom of closed cell foam inside which helped to retain shape. The only drawback was my tendency to put in everything that would fit short of the kitchen sink!

This bag looks to be exceptionally well designed and made. No doubt it is worth the market price to those so inclined. I am imagining it packed with my former hunting load of calls, scents, ammo, etc. Or.. and snacks and a sammich or jerky or summer sausage, cheese and crackers or... :)

I am a sucker for packs, bags and pouches. I like to try new stuff all the time and keeping little things organized is handy as a glove.
