Ha! I tried. As you can clearly see the sheath was made by me, not Ms. Oye, LOL. It's ugly, but functional. I also tried out a sharpening choil on this blade. /shrug

The blade is thin. It was driving me insane trying to smooth the flats.

Should be a really good machete that will last for a loooong time.

Next year i would like to make and donate something more spectacular, as I really like what KnifeRights is doing.

Some of those gun prizes are drool-worthy!
