hey! i was thinking about getting a table at Blade show this year, but i wasnt able to find a clear-cut answer as far as how much it would cost.

Any BLADE attendees know? are you allowed to split a table? is anyone interested in that? and how do you register?

thanks
~Chris

The cost for a table at the Blade Show is $475 for Handmade or Knifemakers Guild. I have a booth and it is $1175.00 for a corner. Call 715-445-2214 or fax715-445-4087. Hope this helps. Hope to see you there. Ray Ennis, Entrek USA

You probably won't be able to get one this year. I'm planning on going for my JS this year, but I won't have a table. Nice thing about not having a table is I won't have to stay all three days. It'll be a quick trip.

hmmmmmm
well... i dont know that a table is gonna work out after all. it would be nice to go though. IS it totally uncouth to sells stuff if you dont have a table?

It is called brown bagging and if caught by show promoters, you will be asked to leave. It is also frowned upon by people who pay $500.00 for a table.

I just got off the phone with the friendly lady at the show, she said she could probably accommodate more people as they have more room this year vs last year.
Give them a call then offer another knifemaker half your table.

PS If you call ask for Alicia

The only people who are allowed to share tables are a small amount of JS who are testing for their stamp. It tells you in the contract that sharing tables is prohibited. They have been enforcing the contracts for the last couple of years.

I sent a $200 deposit last October, and I have not received confirmation that I have a table this year. On my last email I was told they would let me know by the 2nd week of March--so give it a try, but good luck.
