I recently purchased what I thought looked like a quality pack that would fit my needs. The price seemed a bit high for what it was, but decided to purchase it anyway. Upon arrival, it appeared to be the same quality that I'd expect from something off the shelf of wal-mart. Seems lower quality than the LA Police Gear branded bag that I have. The only difference is that the LAPG bag was $20, and the Countycomm bag was $100. The bag is this bag.

It is currently offered for $75, but I paid $100 for it when I ordered it.

Anybody else have any experience with their products? They claim to supply products to the military and government organizations, but I have been in the military for a minute and I have never been issued any of the products I have seen, nor have I seen any of them in use in my time in the service.

I bought the Maratac AA & AAA flashlights, 2 zulu watchbands, a nylon case, paramedic scissors and some cord and I had no problems with any of it. FWIW I've had several good experiences with them.

I don't know nothin' 'bout that bag, or much about countycomm, but I know they have an in-house machine shop, so that makes them cool in my book. I have a Maratac also, and it's worth what I paid for it.

I have at least three County Comm items on my key chain (large split ring also from County Comm,) and I've come to depend on them as part of my EDC.

•Two interior pockets feature molle webbing that allows you to attach your molle gear inside for additional flexibility inside.

Did I miss something?? Why in the world would you put Molle webbing on the inside?

Their policy may have changed by now, but last year when I was deployed they would not ship to an APO address. I have not been issued anything from them, nor have I seen any of their stuff in use by the other services I work with. Does not mean that they have never had a government contract at some point. They could win a contract to sell key rings to some generals in the pentagon and make that claim that they supply items to the military.

They do have some cool gadgets, but not anything worth going thru the hassle of having it shipped to a friend in the States to forward to me while deployed to an APO address. I deleted them from my favs. :thumbdn:

I have one of these http://countycomm.com/72hrbag.html and I disagree with your assessment of it. I have hauled a few heavy loads in it. I'm also happy with the organizational aspect of it.

On the question of Molle webbing inside, it was designed as a travel bag. Filled up, it is almost a cube. It is big. You don't want more pockets hanging off it. But if you have knives, flashlights, pouches, or carabiners to organize, you can hook them up inside.

I have purchased a few times from them and all of the gear that I have purchased have been very serviceable. I do have one bag from them and it is very heavy duty.

I do know that what I had once thought were silly grappling hooks have actually been used by EOD personnel. Don't know if they were issued or personal items though.

I have had good experience with everything I have gotten from them except the padded knife pouch. The molle strip ripped out fairly quickly. I just happen to be wearing my watch on a James Bond NATO strap from them right now. I have also had good experiences with a Zulu strap. I have a widgy bar and a pair or two of trauma shears in my EDC as well.nothing wrong with them. I carry 2 sets of CR123 batteries in a tube vault with great success. The bag I carry all this in is in fact an "EOD robotics" bag from them.

County Comm sells all kinds of products. Some high end stuff, like Marathon SAR watches and some low end made in China stuff. The owners (Nick and Frank) are stand up guys and have designed some of these products which are indeed Gov't contract items. Most of it is EOD related.

oguruma, you should contact CC and return or exchange your bag. I'm surprised LAPG had a better price since CC is one of their suppliers. I'll guess it was on sale and most likely not in stock. Check the feedback forum for LAPG before you order from them.

I've ordered a few things from them, and they've all pretty much been as advertised. The only thing that I was really disappointed in was the maratac flashlight. It was one of the versions that used the AA batteries. Inexplicably it started getting extremely hot every time I turned it on. I've never had that happen with a flashlight before and it continued to do it even when I switched out the batteries. Fortunately it wasn't terribly expensive at least, and now I have a 4sevens light for the same job.

I've ordered a couple of items from County Comm. All items were worth the price paid. Shipping was not the fastest, but there were no problems. I would buy from them again.

I am currently using a CC bag for the range. I really like it and has been taking plenty of abuse. I bought it second hand from this forum so I can not complain about price.

There are internal organizational pouches...

I have a ton of countycomm stuff and the only issues I have ever had were caused by me. I have 2 watches, nylon gear, pens, lighters, prybars. Their stuff isnt setting the standard for other companies but it is great.

Everything I have ever ordered from them has been high quality,Maratac lights, bags, watches and watch bands.Even the real low cost stuff I have gotten is IMO really good for the money.I do hate that they only ship UPS,that keeps me from ordering from them all that much.

Countycomm rocks - top shelf goods for sure. Their pens, bags, flashlights, and mini pry bars are all very nice and well worth the money I spent. My only problem is they won't ship to PO boxes.

I own several of their items, including stuff that I have with me and use every day and never had a problem.

Its been awhile since I ordered something from them and I got what I paid for. Bad thing is they are local to me except they do not have a store front.

There are complaints on the net about their communications and customer service - as well as compliments also.
They seem like a very small, perhaps one-man operation and on an order I recently placed I sought to add an additional item after the order was placed. My message was replied to w/i 24 hours and they added the item I wanted to the order.
