The CPK SurvivalKnife pattern has been generally approved and design development is underway.
Stay tuned...

Is the CPK-SK the same as the CPK camp knife? I hope that you have presented something without choil, or very minimal choil looking thingie ;)

Sweet!!!!!!

Really looking forward to this. Curious to hear what you guys land on for the length of the cutting edge.

a camp knife will likely feature a 7-8" blade, this one is around 6.5"
it will be a little thicker than the FK, but will have a wider blade, so very similar bevel geometry
it will be released- fingers crossed- around Xmas time
it will have a finger choil
I'll post some teaser photos of the sketch soon

FK has 4.4" length blade OAL 9.75"
LC is 9.875" blade, OAL 15.5"
SK, right between these two at 6.5"...but thicker (0.22 mentioned in another thread) and wider belly.:thumbup:

This makes for a really good all around knife which a survival knife should be. I think I will be in on this one!
Merry Christmas to all!!!

Oh, but wait. You said finger choil. Coal in your stocking!!!!

Choil rhymes with spoil. There's a lesson to be learned there!

Holy cow. You guys are sure keeping your noses to the grindstone yes? I'm always interested in new designs from the designers of a proven awesome set of blades.

Bring that sucker!

got an accurate measurement of 6.125" of cutting edge
