Has anyone ever used his heads? I am looking for a using hawk & his heads seem reasonably priced but I do not know of him.

I actually just got done etching one. For the price they are great. The eye is a little uneven as is the hammer pole and there were some nasty grind marks near the edge(but etching got rid of those) I will take some pictures tonight to show you what I mean.

Overall I like the tomahawk. It has a few cosmetic issues, but where else can you find a Damascus hawk head for 65 bucks?
 
Where did you get the handle? Is it hard to fit one? I just got one of the tomahawk heads too. Although, I didn't get the Damascus. Mine's soaking in vinager right now.
 
If I remember correctly, its a normal size handle from crazycrow. He also has a recommendations on his auctions. American Handle Company or something. But I wanted some rawhide to wrap the handle so I went with crazy crow. It fits good. I need to soak it in oil so it can swell.

that is a great looking hawk....would it be strong enough for hard use...what kind of steel....

Well when you take in to account that it is a hand forged damascus tomahawk head for 60 dollars, you can look past a few small flaws.

Awesome! Be careful, traffic on Broadway today is hell
 
yeah traffic sucks here....they keep putting traffic islands up everywhere and it makes it worse....I really like the design of the hammer end of that hawk...Ill keep checking on ebay until he offers one like that

Absolutely!! He has some on there now both damascus and carbon that have a centerline of 5160 welded in. I have a feeling I will end up with a couple of his to mod/finish up. I just need to work with a finished hawk a little before I am up to tackling the modding/finishing.
