I've been looking around for awhile now on purchasing a credit card knife, I have come across a couple nice ones Nemesis Ti card, Microtech assailant card, and the tool logic card. Now does anybody have any recommendations ?

spyderco made one a bit ago and they come up for sale in the forums here one and awhile for 70-90 bucks and they are pretty nice

While I don't have too much experience with credit card knives, I can tell you that thickness is the most important factor. You should probably ask yourself if you have room for an extra 2-3 credit cards. That's a pretty good approximation of how thick your credit card knives/multi tools will be.

Other than that, check out Spyderco's Spydercard (discontinued) or the SwissCard series from Victorinox.

There seem to be three different types of "credit card" knives; acutal folding knives that are roughly the shape and size of a standard credit card (such as the Spyderco SpyderCard):

Credit card sized and shaped plastic sheath knives (like the Victorinox SwissCard):

And credit card size and shapped knives (like the Microtech Assaliant):

IMO, folding knives like the SpyderCard are really too large and heavy for actual wallet carry, although they do make nice choices for Altoids-tin PSKs. The other two are better choices to put into your wallet, and they come down to personal prefernce I think.

Boker just came out with one, too:

Also on the used market is the Flatbyrd:

I have this one and I think I paid $18. It is definitely the cheapest titanium frame lock I own. :D

I picked it over some of the other designs because it actually folds out into something somewhat usable as a tool. I think the Microtech is awesome and very tacticool, but probably not as practical. YMMV.
