CRKT summit!!

ok... i want one of the new crky summit series. i think they look nice but i want to get some oppinions. they appear the beat the crap out of the old commander series knives which were crap... but i wanted to know if they hold up. they make bold claims about them... anyone know anything? how consistent is the liner lockup? does it travel all the way to the right immediately after the box like the old commanders used to?

I just got one of the Commanders on closeout a few weeks ago (Red Dog) and I like it a lot. Locks up solid with a 'cli-clink'. The liner stops right in the center of the blade. I also like the pseudo-flat grind line. My only issue is the weight. I generlly like Zytel handles, or G10 if I'm feeling frisky. Metal handles are like carrying a brick in the pocket. So, I just use it with jeans.

From what I can tell, the Summit series is essentially the Commanders with the LAWKS. So, if lock strength was your only beef, the LAWKS might be your ticket.
