thank you for the help.
There is no visible mark.
It is arrived all rusty with 2 loop handles, one very old and cracked.
So i cleaned as possible and filed as i know.
In Italy we have no more tradition in those things so i have learned by youtube and forum like this...
I have made my own ergonomic handle
yes the back is thinner then the front.
Ciao

It looks like a Simonds No. 13. See a Simonds catalog at: https://crosscutsawyer.com/download/file.php?id=10

Or a Disston No.289 Virginian. See a Disston catalog at: https://crosscutsawyer.com/download/file.php?id=2821

Both saws are very similar with the small raker tooth on the starter teeth.

Hello, everyone. I want to show another saw from my collection. Purchased from ebay.uk for little money. it is 150 cm long ( 5 feet ). she's stiff and heavy. No taper ground.
I know it is not common in USA but this type of teeth is typical in Europe along with regular ones.
The brand is Francis Wood & Son from Sheffield. It was a NOS object.
Does everyone knows this brand or use this kind of saw?
Thanks

I have one but it seriously needs some braces for them teeth, they're so messed up in considering pointing it and leaving it alone rather than recutting them

Nice Underbuck!

I was supposed to have taken a crosscut certification course this week, but they cancelled it a couple weeks ago. :(

I had a trail group that was supposed to do the training and go out with me on a chainsaw cert next week, that we cancelled.

However, I am taking a couple of the most dedicated out for a two on one cert, that will get the club functioning at least until we can put more than a couple people in a room together.

Unusual times.
