Does anyone own this knife?

I am looking at purchasing this knife, or is their something better in this price range that I should get?

Hey ccg...

The Arclite is a reallt decent basic knife..
you can't go wrong with it...

Another knife in it's class would be a Becker Necker...

I have several Arclites, they are an excellent knife for the money

I'm suprised there hasn't been more of a response.

I had one during a "neck knife" phase and thought it a good buy.

If you plan on heavier use, not around salt water, you might wish to look for a D2 version from AG Russell.

Arclites are a great knife at a very good price.I've owned several.Still have one.YMMV.tom.

The Arclite is a good knife that comes with a decent Kydex sheath (if neck carry is your thing). The handle is ergonomically sound even when not cordwrapped and the blade shape is very versatile.

Becker necker has better steel but is heavier & to me did not feel right in the hand. The arclite is a GREAT ergonomic design & a good cutter. IMHO

I have had micarta slabs added & had the original sheath modified to accept the handle slabs
I added a mini-Tech-loc to hold it either horizontal or vertical.
I also had it Bodycoted with diamond DLC to protect the D2 steel.
