What do you guys prefer on a custom buck 110: Rivets or No Rivets at all. personally i like the rivets just because they make the knife look more like a 110. just want to hear what some other people think.

Rivets are good with wood. I wouldn't get them for bone or stag etc. Most of the time they screw them in too much and leave you with a hole that doesn't look good IMO.

I think I prefer the cleaner, no rivet look.

I have a Buck 55 with rivets and that looks OK. Either way, I still like the look.

mostly in a custom i will go no rivets
now that said i find that i like rivets at times ...
dont like the lock bar pin showing at all
even on box store knives
feel it should be an option
would pay 2$ more to not have them..

But, Dave, a 110 wouldn't work very well without a lockbar pin!

Okay, I need more caffein!

Oh - the original question - rivets showing or not? YES!

Stainz, who was for rivets showing before it was fashionable to not do so...

Not meaning to necro this... but... what holds the scales on without rivets? Are they just glued?
