Custom Competition Chopper

My custom comp chopper from Six Ear Knife and Tool is pretty incredible. Made from Cruforge V, it has the best sharpness retention of any knife I’ve ever owned. Great edge geometry too; here’s a video of me cutting a baseball and softball mid flight with it:

Cool, can you please list some specs on the blade and handle?

Sure (sorry technical stuff isnt my forte)
blade is 1 7/8 tall, 10” long 15” OAL micarta handle (I like racket wrap and friction tape for repetitive chopping grip) 60 HRC convex grind. spine is shy of 1/4 inch. It’s lighter and thinner than other comp choppers I’ve handled, but I think is comparable performance wise to heavier, bigger choppers.

I’ve been in two competitions so far, both in Pigeon Forge. I really enjoyed it and the people competing are nice folks and talented cutters. I’d certainly do it again if there is another competition within driving distance.
