Are there any custom sheath companies that make forearm and/or calf sheaths that can withstand saltwater diving use?

PM me and I can put you in touch with a friend of mine. He made a really nice dive knife sheath for a friend of mine. I prefer my sheaths to have backing on one side behind the handle, instead of having two equal pieces of kydex that stop just above the hilt like most custom kydex. It is alot easier to put the knife back in the sheath without sticking yourself.

What knife did you decide on?

Mako Spearguns has a new kill knife for sale. Might be a cheaper way to go.

Where are you diving?

Spyderco Aqua Salt serrated. Might also get a Riffe Standard Knife(deluxe kit). My Mako 90cm railgun just arrived today. :D I'll be diving in NY and whenever on vacation someplace warm with blue water! LOL

I like the Spyderco but the sheath is exactly what I dont like. My friend made a drop down belt loop for my BRKT Wet enviro knife. I ll try to get some pics or get my friend to post some pics of his sheath.

I have a Mako 80cm that has been great. The trigger can get jammed if you let it get in the sand so try to keep it clean. I just ordered a 120cm barrel and shaft/ slip tip yesterday.

Some video of some Makos in action. A friend(bluesuit) shot his first fish on the video.

Post some pics when you get some fish.

I've been diving in places that won't allow a knife or gloves, to protect the coral. I've found that crash shears work just fine, and don't raise any eyebrows... Just in case, they're good to have on you...
