Hey everyone,
This is the JunkYard Dog I've been working on today. I purchased some G10 (Red, Toxic Green, Tan, Brown, and Camo) and arrived in the mail today.
This is my first time working with G10 and making scales. Im fairly happy about the result.
I will be making more tomorrow out of the rest of the colors. It took me about 4-5 hours taking my time and also taking a few breaks.
I used a Dremel with a sanding drum and cut off wheel for cutting the shape out, and an orbital sander and Dremel for the finish sanding.
I used a drill press to drill the holes and countersink them.
I chose the Toxic Green and Tan for my first set. All colored G10 scales came in pairs of 1.5" x 5" sheets @ 1/8" thick.
