Cutlery Shoppe.....How Long Does It Take?

After seeing nice reviews on the site, I decided to order from them. I used the free shipping code, so that is why I am asking....How long does it take for the order to ship, and arrive at your door? Thanks. :thumbup:
 
I've placed a few orders with them over time, and they always ship the same day or the next day depending on what time I order, with USPS it's usually 2 business days in the contiguous United States
 
Usually about 2 days for me. If I order Wed night after closing time (means he gets the order Thursday AM), I get it Saturday.

Same herre, Jeff has alwys shipped fast. Then again you and I are in the same reqion I think , postal region that is.
 
For reference, I put in an order yesterday in the early afternoon. The shipping info says my package left a USPS sort facility early this morning, which means it's in transit and should be at my door by Saturday (Monday at the latest I bet).

And this was an order for which I opted for the coupon code free shipping AND included a backordered item (i.e., the in-stock order wasn't held up by the backorder).

I call that excellent service.
 
if it's in stock, Jeff is lightning fast, all things relative. if it isn't, you are at the mercy of the manufacturer and how long it takes them to ship it out and it can take a while sometimes. Jeff is a class act, and seems to be open for email questions...always answered mine fast and was very helpful, and polite.
 
Update: the package from Cutlery Shoppe that I expected on Saturday (tomorrow) arrived today, including the backordered item. Seriously excellent service. With a nice hard copy of the Spyderco 2011 catalog.
 
I've ordered from Cutlery Shoppe three times. Two successes and one fiasco, First time, I ordered just one knife as a test run at the site. I ordered Thursday, it came on Wednesday the next week. The next time, I picked out about $175 worth of product. They told me that one of the items was on backorder from Canada and would arrive soon. That was the end of May, and I didn't hear from them until September when they requested my card info again. I sent it and got the stuff in another 10 days. Damn. But their prices are sooo good (often 40-50% MSRP), that I ordered a couple more knives on a recent Tuesday night and there they were at my door Friday morning. Heck of a speedbump, but I LOVE their selection, prices, and speed (67% of the time). Used "nutnfancy" coupon code on first and last orders and got free shipping. I sure hope they can keep it up.
 
I have had A hit and miss past with Cutlery shoppe, many years ago they were flawless now I wonder after my last order took 6 months. I understand backorder items but most places will ship the order it two parts to keep you happy, they just help the whole thing and didn`t keep me updated at all. I will still give them a chance but I will worry.
 
I've placed a couple orders which were delivered in timely fashion. In one case, however, they shipped me an incorrect knife. Their service response was excellent, and they actually shipped the correct knife--along with a postage-paid box for the one they erroneously sent--without even asking me to return the one they sent me first. I will continue to do business with them.
 
I ordered an AL Mar Hawk late on a Saturday night with free shipping and it was waiting for me in my mailbox when I got home from work the following Wednesday. I am going to order another from there very soon.
 
I have never had any issues with delays from Jeff but each knife I bought was in stock too. I like dealing with Cutlery Shoppe.
