Hi all,
below you can see my own interpretation of the famous dacian dagger (sica), forged from 5 mm leaf spring, 420 mm total length, 280 mm blade length, 31 mm max width, with a handle made from iron, brass and brushed bog oak.
Thanks for watching .

Dagger, or short sword? :-O
Awesome. I like it.
The forward curve is something I'm working on currently as well. Kind of a reverse Persian. :-D
The hexagonal elements are cool and all the colors work well together.
I like the slight hammer marks left close to the spine.
The makers mark reminds me of some kobutan like weapon. Can you explain what it means?

Now off to Google and checking what the famous Dacian dagger is.
edit: Well, yours looks the best of all the ones I could find.

Thanks a lot guys
Jens, The makers mark is mine, and if you look closely, you will see behind the kobutan weapon two initials, a C and P, which are my name initials :D
