Damascus and maple burl. It followed me home from the Blade Show. Not a custom knife - a couple of places with right angles that a custom maker would have rounded for comfort -but, for a factory sort of price ....

I'll let Barnaby Z. fill in the details and specs.

In the Knive Illustrated Delta Z showed a diffrent handle material.What is available and at what price.The Burl does look good with the damascus.

Dear Jack,

There are many variations in handles, from Stag, African Ox - to Blue, Brown, Orange, and Red Stablized Maple Burl, Cocobolo, etc. depending on the knife type and style.
