Hello,
Here's a piece I finished up this week. It's sort of a miniature parang blade at 6" in length, with an over all length of 10 7/8".
I forged the blade with a core of 80CrV2 high carbon steel, and the jacket layers are some are pattern welded steel I forged from high carbon field harrow spring steel and 15N20. The spine thickness is about 5/32", with a high flat grind.
Handle scales are ivory colored paper micarta with Loveless bolts and brass lanyard hole on a lightly tapered tang
