Thought you might like to know my reaction when I opened the package that just arrived from Texas. My first order from Jerry Halfrich. When my slot came up, I was pulling out my hair (what little there is) trying to decide what I wanted from him (could you make me two or three, Jerry??). Finally, went with Jerry's 4 1/8th-inch HTT pattern with stag. Just a great folder with walk and talk that runs and screams (his words). Count me as a happy camper. The whole order process with him was delightful, and his work rocks!

Joe, I know the feelin' amigo. Jerry just gets it right, and that one is superb. Terrific stag, great fluted bolsters, perfect swedges, and fine federal shield. Can it get much better? :)

Kudos to you and Jerry on a sweet pocketknife. I'm guessing cpm154, and I'm sure it's got the trademark Halfrich scary sharp edge. ;)

Ford, both blade and backspring are CPM 154. It really has some snap to it.

Wow! boy is that clean! Congrats to both of ya on a fine knife.

I really didn't need to see that... I'm collecting trappers again.. ;)

Sweet lookin Halfrich! Do you know where he procured that amber stag?...it's purrrrrdy!

Damm!

Thats one very nice knife. I'm a sucker for nice stag anyways, but thats just out of this world. I could even be tempted to abandon penauts for a knife like that.

Jerry told me a lot about the construction of this knife, but I didn't learn where the stag came from. It is some super nice stag, tho.!

Thanks for the comments, everyone.
