I haven't posted on the forum in a few years. Though I could kick myself for not getting on on the recent grab bags!! (I still get the emails and lurk here)

However, I was just watching the season 7 finale of TWD and right at the end of the episode we see Daryl scrounging around with his crossbow and I got a real quick 1/4 second flash of the knife on his hip.

It looked to have red canvas grip panels...and talon holes on each side of the pointed hilt.

Is it just me or is that a 2nd Busse on Daryl's hip?

he's been paid to be carrying chinese tglb clones that sell for like $100 online think in season 5-6 he was carrying one called the blood diamond

So you are telling me that a majorly popular TV show that draws in big $$$$$ is going to risk taking small potatoes to have a character carry a blatant copy of a knife that Busse made, that they had him carry originally......

What kind of dumb schmuck producer is going to let that kind of call stand, considering the liability of being sued by Busse for doing it?

Not to mention, it just smacks of low morals.

that's network tv for ya, anyway they can make a buck. Why you think they cancel most good shows and put on more and more reality shows and comedies ? why spend big budget and make 2-3 return when you can put on low rent crap with b or less grade actors and still make the same or more money on commercial marketing... looks how many people watch duck dynasty or all those weirdo is the woods shows like bush people... film a family doing basic ordinary life things and get 100million viewers...

I'm presuming that it has nothing to do with the actor getting paid. AMC and the producers put those deals together. Norman Reedus carries what the prop department gives him. Which is in many cases is probably a painted rubber copy of something. That's not to say he didn't know it was an awesome Busse knife to start, but I kinda doubt he has a piece of merchandising or control over the daryl dixon likeness.

well yeah that's what I mean, he's under contact so anything sold "walkind dead" related pays amc royalties not him

I noticed that handle too. Couldn't get a very clear view of it when I tried to pause it. There are a ton of Busse blades that I don't know well enough to pick out from a quick glance of the handle but I do remember thinking possibly Hellrazor.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed it. I tried finding a screen shot/pic of it online but I couldn't. Maybe someone else can.

For specs it looked to be about a 10" blade, single edge, the hilt was pointed on both ends and had holes in both ends, handle had red grips that looked to be canvas, full tang design from what I could see. The one thing I wish I remembered was the pommel.

I wanted to come back to this....I saw it again at the end of last week's episode. Did anyone else see it? It was when Rick and Daryl were talking to the Savior about the machine guns....the camera caught a quick flash of the knife on his right hip.... I'll be damned if the handle composition/depths and hilt didn't look like the spittin image of a Busse!!

Anyone else catch it??
