Over in THIS thread, Daywalker introduced his WHART. If you haven't seen it, check it out. Chad talks about the Whys and Wherefores of the WHART, which I'll not go into :yawn:
Chad asked me to post up some pics of this WHART variant he did with a bit longer blade:
I've always been a fan of Wharncliffe type blades and decided to apply the WHART concept to a Trance I had on hand. Here is my interpretation of Chad's WHART:
Blade is about 2.050" long
Added a full convex swedge to front edge of blade
Bead blasted and stonewashed blade, lock side and clip
Satin finished thumbstuds and all hardware
Replaced teflon washers with phosphor-bronze washers
Added a bead blasted carbon fiber front scale
