Like Kelly, I spent a few hard working, fun filled days with Darrel Ralph. It was an honor to be in such a place where great blades are born

Here are some pics of my EDC Illusion. S90V blade, heat colored screws, studs, and clip, and jeweled interior. While I was there Darrel also showed me how to nugget and I did so on my small Apogee. Will post pics of it later.

Hugh - nuggeting is a term that Darrel uses to describe taking a Dremel tool with a carbide burr and roughing up certain areas of a titanium knife handle. The resulting surface texture resembles nuggets in a way. Those teardrop shaped patterns in the handle are done on the milling machine. I have one of the newer EDC's in which the lockbar is thicker than the original and there is those new machining patterns on the handle.
