We have recently been opening up some of our discontinued items on our site to our customers. Some of our items are marked “no longer available to order” due to having to manage high order lists in our shop year round. We have recently slowed enough to open some of these back up for a short time, on a limited quantity basis. Thought we’d share some pictures of some of the swords that have opened up at the moment:

Shop Details:
1095 High Carbon Spring Steel. Steel is Heat Hardened & quenched in oil. Heat Tempered @ 500 degrees for 2 hours, and letting it air cool.

Devastator Axe Influenced by the Death Dealer in Frank Frazetta’s 1973 Fantasy Painting

Measurments:
Total Length = 48 " (4 foot)
Blade Length = 14"
Blade Width = 1 foot 2"
Blade Thickness = 1/4"
Handle Length = 48"
Handle Width = 1 1/4 "
Handle = Oak
Weight = 10 lbs, 13 lbs including shipping.
Counter weight is added to the end of the handle for balance.

Handle shape is not cut out. We bend it using steam. The same approach we use on our bows.
Makes for a stronger handle.

You are very welcome!
And steaming the handle is something that not many people understand. A turned haft will never be as strong as a haft that has kept the grain intact and then been steamed. It's the way the Vikings did their axe handles.

You are correct. Keeping that grain in tact and bending them, then letting it dry solid is the way to go. Thanks again,

That second sword is awesome and looks like it would handle well. Great stuff thanks for sharing

That axe is next level cool. Very well done. I still remember the image from the original Frazetta and this nailed it.

Thank you. I've been a fan of Frank Frazetta since I was a young boy. Had all the books.
