For your consideration is this Defiant Chute Knife in CPM-154/Black G-10. The guard is fully machined and soldered - there are no bolsters involved. The tang extends 3/4 of the way into the handle and is set with G/flex marine grade epoxy and a 1/16" diameter stainless pin. The solder joint is perfectly execute with no pinholes.
