Are you thinking about evolving the pattern ala edc 2.0, or going in a different direction?
The 1.0 field knife is pretty damn awesome, maybe some small tweaks like adding the thumb cutouts, thinning the stock a little bit, making the blade slightly taller for more slicey (full height?) or more ergo-ey ergos? The one thing that makes my field knife outperform the other knives I have is the thin grind and 15 per side, whenever I try to carve wood or cut things with other knives my face goes :\ I would want the new version to carry on that legacy :D
