No... not a B-movie from the 70's.
I actually found an old axe at flea market today. Near the poll is a very small, upper case letter stamping, which reads: "DEMON". It has a Dayton or Connecticut style head. Nice old Patina on a 32 inch (well-weatherd) handle with scroll knob.
I will post pictures at a later time.
The only information I can find on it is in the "Axe Makers of North America" book, by Allan Klenman.
It says on page 141, that it was sold by Honeyman Hardware Co in Portland Oregon around 1935.
Anyone out there have one of these, or know who might be the manufacturer behind this brand?
