Hello all,
can anyone tell me a bit about bladesmith Dennis DesJardins and the knives he makes? I saw a nice damascus one that I really liked..
Thanks in advance!

Dennis is a colorful character that looks as rustic as his knives. His stuff is well constructed and harkens back to the days of the "Mountain Men" His handel material is often the jaw bones of animals or Ivory that has the pommel carved into the shape of an animal. His sheaths are made by his wife and are "brain tanned leather" and decorated with hand bead work. I'm not sure if he forges his own damascus or not but I do know tha he uses Thomas Damascus in some of his knive.

Thanks for your reply. Do you have any contact info for Mr. DesJardins?
(And BTW, if you havent´t seen it yet, the link in your sig line doesn´t work properly because of a typo - you might want to correct that.)
Visited your site, your knives are gorgeous.

No problem, hope you had a nice time at the Blade show, and thanks a lot.
