Merry christmas and happy holidays.
What can I say about this knife? It is everything I look for in a fixed blade living in a mostly suburban, semi-rural part of the country.
TLDR: superb utility knife, untested but expected self defence capabilities, expensive. Wish it was in Elmax. It is everything I hoped for, and everything I was afraid of.
Let me preamble this by saying, at 210 (I payed 240 because like a dumbass I missed the initial drop and had to pay a small dealer markup) it's a little pricey for a little sliver of D2 and kydex. You're paying mostly for the design, like Demkos.

Initial impression, the knife is beautifully finished and came extremely sharp. Also, I had no idea this was their "signature" line, so take that you inferior peasant microtechs!
With my medium sized hands, I still have plenty of grip, in any position. The milling is just the right amount for a good grip, and the ring is very nice and smooth.

The knife itself is a chisel flat ground D2 piece. I like D2, but for this amount of money I would've rather had Elmax or something with a little more toughness. I've used this knife for a week and it still cuts paper very well, but the tip has mysteriously blunted (I'm pretty certain I didnt hit anything hard...). Still even without the stabby bit, this knife has a shape that is extremely utilitarian despite it's rather singular purpose. I remember seeing alot of hawksbill/talon shaped knives back home and they're all very useful for many day to day except foodprep.

Now the sheath. It is well made and is a very snug clickie fit for the Feather. Retention is A+, but also presents a possible downside; there is no way to "quietly" deploy this guy, it comes out with a CREWWAAAP that will sure to excite nearby sheeples, then its "OMG HES GOT A STABBY STAB". It also takes a bit of effort to yank it out, almost requiring you to karambit-grip it with a finger...there is no place on the sheath to anchor "push" the blade out.

The blade contacts the sheath very intimately during sheathing and deployment, but I found no evidence of blade or edge wear from repeated deployment (nightmare of Secure-Ex comes to mind...).

The sheath comes with a little clip that has a bent-backwards part (I'm sure there is a scientific term for this, but it escapes me) that is meant to catch material so you can yank the blade out; it works very well.

This is a very discreet carry until deployment (CREWWAAAP), you can pocket, IWB, belt loop, whateveryou like. It weighs a hint heavier then Endura LW, my usual comparison-pig.

Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase and feel that this is a very good design for daily utilitarian use. It opens boxes, processed CB, opens mail, cuts strap and tags, etc. Oh, and stab someone if the need arises. Great mate with a SAK carry.
210 is a little hard to swallow, but I dont regret it. Thanks for taking the time to read through my mess of a review! Stay safe and healthy during the holidays!
