I recently got a handy little tool from Deryk and Jana Munroe that they call the Mega Dangler (there is a smaller version as well). It is basically a pocket clip made from 6Al4V titanium that you can attach to anything with a ring, a bail, or a hole near an edge in it and have it serve as a pocket clip for that item.

The Mega Dangler is 2 3/4" long not counting the gate clip and ring and about 3/4" wide at its widest point, which makes it big enough to grab easily but certainly small enough to not add significant bulk to whatever you attach it to. It also has a bottle opener built into it (the smaller version doesn't). Although very few have been made for sale so far, the Mega Dangler can presumably done in a variety of finishes; this one is tumbled with blue anodizing.

I think Deryk and Jana have hit one out of the park with this simple yet brilliant tool. As the picture showing the clip in my pocket would suggest, it does a great job of letting me get my keys out without having to fish for them, yet it clips easily enough onto the pocket so that putting it back in can be done in one motion. As the picture with my wife shows, the Mega Dangler can also be clipped to a belt loop like a carabiner if desired.

At $48 a pop when available, these Mega Danglers are a great deal, and I would highly recommend them. Thanks D and Jana!

I understand that it is anodized titanium. But it seems a bit pricey for the function it performs, as I can buy a steel clip that attaches keys to my pocket or belt for a couple of bucks.

Thats pretty cool, a driver head pry bar version would be a nice addition to the bottle opener I think.

OMG! I went to their site and the Dangler is what I have been looking for. Thanks for this!!!!!!

I emailed the sales department about purchasing a regular dangler. Thanks for the info, this is going to play a big roll in my EDC.

From the pictures, it looks like it was intended for that. Look at the end where the gate clip attaches. Seems screw-drivery to me.

I just received a regular Dangler. I like to carry my EDC light suspended in my front left pocket with the lanyard hanging outside the pocket. I recently bought a LunaSol 20 and have been experimenting with the best way to carry it. It is heavier than my old EDC and the lanyard thing wasn't working. It kept falling into the bottom of the pocket. The Dangler, while not a lanyard is perfect! It suspends the light just the way I like, without getting in the way.

The D.T.S. or Damsteel danglers are pretty much just what I was thinking of so thats good :D:thumbup:

Ordered one of these because I was tired of digging in my pocket for my big clump of keys and other objects clustered on my keyring. The mega dangler works great. Just clip it on your pocket and grap it when you need your keyring. Five stars for this handy little device.

In the second pic your jeans are slightly unzipped and we can all see your mega dangler...:D Someone had to say it!

Anyone know if these are still available on the market? If so, can you please PM me. Thanks in advance.
