Definitely one of the biggest pushes in that direction for me!Bel Air… American Made!
Fair, but I have tons of carbon fiber and aluminum knives, I really like the look and feel of micarta. Kizer has been shown good heat treat, but we'll see. I really just wanted a fun knife right at the 150 dollar mark. And really it seems small detail but the deep carry pocket clip i just couldn't see myself enjoying to carry the Bel Air.Materials?
The Kershaw has better steel and carbon fiber. plus it isn’t made in China so we actually can believe the manufacturers claimed steel.
Hahaha! I know, magnacut I have a few of, great steel but nothing noticably different that I've been able to tell vs s35v or the like. It was really the micarta first, steel choice second. I could have forgiven a lot but the Kershaw had such a deep carry that the clip ended up deciding in the end.Citing materials when you passed on the MagnaCut blade....hmmmm...alrighty then!
Enjoy!
