Noticed the action was somewhat rough and the knife was soaked in oil. Took it apart - 3 rollers from the double-row bearings are missing.
Does anybody know where to get the bearing or rollers?
Thank you in advance

I’ve heard that if you have trouble with a knife purchased from AliExpress, just ship it back and they’ll fix it in their machine shop for you or replace the knife. You have to ship it certtified mail though and provide a CC number as they won’t pay for return shipping.

If the above doesn’t work, you might try Skiff Workshop. They MIGHT have something to fit.

Next time try a reputable dealer.

They really named the knife "Catastrophe"? Seems appropriate.

It's unlikely they used bearings that weren't off-the-shelf. Get precise measurements on them and you'll probably be able to find replacements.

Thank you for the advice, but I waited for a month for it to be shipped from China. Not sure want to wait another 4 for the back and forth. Maybe as a last resort

Catastrophe is the latest of District 9 folders and is massively overbuilt. Just as I like them. The bearings the use are nothing I’ve seen in knives before. They are double-row steel rollers. Will look for ceramic ball replacement version

I checked them out. Might work.
Ali Express has been as reliable (or more) than eBay (where I also bough high end knives from China in the past). There are no Western dealer who have any District 9 knives in stock. When they do, they sell fast.

Yeah op, if you couldn't tell I doubt you have many options. You got a fake and original parts likely won't fit. Do yourself a favor and stick to legit websites.
Thank you for the lecture. I do appreciate the effort you made in leaving the a reas it was.
Why not buy a legit knife instead of a knock-off? Or even buy from a knife from the US or one of our allies.
do yourself a favor and read some about the brand and this particular model. You might find it interesting. I know I did.

Aliexpress is know for selling counterfeit and terrible quality items with no recourse for the buyer. I am sure Reate doesn’t want unbranded counterfeit knives being sold.
