I saw SMKW's catalog that said an acheron comes with the bigger ZK blades. Is this just an offer from them or is it like the Remora that useta come with the BK9 and BK7 for a short time. If it's from Ka-Bar packaged like that is it a limited time thing ???

The Acheron comes with all 4 big ZK sheath knives and has its own insert in the front pocket of the sheath. You can buy it separately too.

EB speaks tha truth. All of the ZK knives will come with a Acheron Parasite knife, and they will be for sale seperately.

EB, we might have to get you a BH#, but I don't think you have enough posts in BFC yet. :D

I have to say, I like what Ka-Bar's coming out with. The Johnson Adventure and Zombie Killer series are a lot of fun, big knives with a different look. Not to put down the Becker line, those are classics for all the right reasons. And I like Ethan's initials.

Yeah, the ZK knives are flying, and I do mean flying off the shelves. I was talking to Kabar today, they are completely out of the first run, the second run isn't even here yet, should be a couple of days, and most of them are gone to dealer preorders. Things are going crazy fast.

Steve Johnson is a great guy, and is working on some really cool stuff, that everyone will be hearing, if not seeing soon. :D

You got some pretty good taste, EB, pretty good taste.

I like big knives! You ever see my big CRK? A Sable with a 12" blade. (The small Sable below it has a 4" blade.)

I would never put a Mnandi in there! but I did fit my Umfaan in it once. Lots of room for that little guy.

North Jersey is a long way from the Shore, too. :)

I spent some time in Wharton, NJ, about 3 months, working on the Nestle's Plant there. It was cold. Very cold. Great people though.
