Does a knife like this exist? Single blade Spey/Wharnie trapper?

Maybe......a couple choices come to mind GEC's Furtaker Trapper on the #53 equal end frame - warnie and just keep the clip blade closed.......GEC single blade #23 pattern in 09' came out with a spey only, and lastly soon to arrive a GEC #72 pattern ( lock back ) with a single warnie blade....

If you can wait for the upcoming release, GEC is coming out with a #72 single-blade 3.875" lockback trapper with a 1095 Wharncliffe 
in various handle materials. I definitely plan on getting one.

There's also the 4-1/4" closed Schatt & Morgan File & Wire "swayback" (really more of a trapper profile) slipjoint with a single ATS-34 Wharncliffe, which is priced in what I assume is the same range as the GEC. Personally, I'd hold out for the lockback, though the S&M looks nice, too. I have a #72 with a clippoint, and it's beautifully made and smooth as silk.

A single-bladed, full-sized trapper from Case is a rare bird, but they're out there.
Ditch is right about the Scagel Fruitport, they made a bunch with wharncliffe blades. Those Fruitports are super nice knives, they're a great size, and built very, very well. No jigged bone, G10 or delrin, only smooth bone and stag, but the smooth bone is extra juicy and fine. They're not cheap though.
