Does anyone carry a Buck toothpick?

I do, occasionally. I bought one of the gift sets a while back which came with a 373 Trio and a 385 small toothpick. I liked the shape of the toothpick, but it was a tad small for my hands. So I sprang for the 388 large toothpick, and I catch myself carrying it from time to time. They're interesting knives.

Today I came home to find a package which should have contained one of the large toothpick knives in the two bladed variety. What came instead was another 373/385 set just like the one I already have. When you cast your line in the bay, sometimes you reel in a shoe. Oh, well Christmas is around the corner and someone will enjoy my duplicate set.

Does anyone else like these/carry one? Has anyone tried the two blade large size?20241024_154007.jpg

I got a set with the 382 and the 385 for Christmas a few years ago. I haven't carried the 385 much. It is small. I've never been into the toothpick pattern but I love Buck knives so I could see me carrying it. I would have to pair it with something else I guess. I love the 373 and 382 Trapper. I have been carrying the 373 more. It reminds me of my old 303 Buck. I bought that in 1993 I think and still own. I used it for everything. One time I killed a deer and couldn't find Dad's knife. So I used it to skin the deer. It took a while. Its crazy to think of what all I used it for. I didn't have very many knives back then, it was all I needed. I guess I should carry the 385 more but I'm afraid I'll loose it. Maybe a fifth pocket carry. We can get by with less, sometimes a smaller knife is all you need. Anyway good post. God bless.

Toothpicks are handy, I love them. During winter, I always keep a toothpick or a 309 in the watch pocket of my jeans. Still waiting to find a deal on an old 333 so I can carry an American made Buck toothpick, for now, I've got a stag toothpick from that other famous US knife company out of PA. The only non-Buck I carry.

I've got a 385 that I keep in my garden shed that gets plenty of use.
