Does anyone make a more durable version of this?

I would love to add something like this nifty thing to my kit, but it feels flimsier than I'd like. Does anyone else make something like this (or similar) that's a bit tougher?

It takes reciprocating saw blades and folds like a pocket knife.

I have a deal from home depot that holds sawzall blades and a magnetic screwdriver bit holder ,It does not fold and is heavy but it does come with a cheap cordura case that holds the handle and blades and screwdriver bit holder. But I have been thinking about making my own handle with the quick change spring twist type end for a sawzall .

I wasn't really looking for a full-blown multitool (my Victo Spirit takes care of that) but thanks for the suggestion. ;)

My further searching turned up that Bosch makes a nice one that takes either reciprocating saw blades OR jigsaw blades and it's only around $12 so I think I'll go with that unless anyone can suggest something better. You'd think one of the major knife companies would come out with something like that.

Fiskars has a light weight pocket saw with a sliding blade and another one with a folding blade. They run $10-$15. The folder has an optional spare bone saw blade with fine teeth which is good for light butchering.

I'm looking specifically for a stand-alone folding pocket saw that accepts reciprocating saw blades.

That Lenox one looks nice! Thanks for the tip!

By pure coincidence, I ordered the Lenox tri-fold just yesterday! I was going to post here after I had checked it out. The Lenox seems to have a good reputation. Bosch make one as well, that also takes jigsaw blades, but the Lenox looks thougher.

With that and a couple of blades (good quality demolition blade and finer-pitch metal blade) we should be able to cut our way out of, or in to, most things.

Totally not what I was looking for. Read above. ;)

Actually that was the one I was talking about. It doesn't fold, but the handle stores blades.

I'll probably go with the Lenox one, though. It folds and locks and looks tough as nails. The real nice thing about it taking reciprocating saw blades is that they're available at any hardware store and can be found in a wide variety of styles intended for cutting everything from foam or drywall all the way up to metal. It'd make a great piece of gear for both a wilderness kit as well as an urban one. :)
