Does the Vosteed Grind have ball bearings?

I can't see close enough to tell, but it looks like it's ball bearings. Took the scales off but didn't want to fuss with putting the pin back through the axis point as it's a slight pain with my Benchmade knives.

As a side, the presentation, bells, & whistles of the Vosteed Grind is so good it hurts. I've barely started carving with it, so I can't speak to it's durability, etc... Other than it's a bit slicey, but not as much as the Gerber Mansfield. I'll have to actually used it while camping to see if the sliciness is too much. So far it doesn't seem that bad. This in contrast to my Enzo Brisa which is a better at feather sticks. Of course the trade off is less efficient notching and stake making. Regardless, for now, here are some pics.

This is a company that truly cares about presentation. For 75$, comes with; A tin(aluminum) box, carry zip pouch, cloth for wiping off finger prints, Velcro patch, sticker, and two cards I don't care about but are well designed.

Their cross-bar/axis lock is butter smooth which is why I'm wondering about ball bearings. Ball bearings worry me as a grain of sand seems like it would hinder the mechanism while in the bush. If you want an easier action, then you can take the scales off and loosen the spring by placing it in a pin-hole further out if you desire. The mid section was the perfect tension for me. Also, deep pocket carry and that clip is recessed. I carried a Spyderco Delica for about 8 years and a lack of recessed clip caused issues with the clip becoming loose.

154CM, but I don't have the experience to compare to the Enzo Brisa's N690Co. The micarta scales on this knife are much grippier which is a plus for me. Smooth/polished micarta scales defeat the purpose in my view (Brisa is rather smooth/slick).

All in all, even if I can only lightly use this knife, I'm very happy with the Vosteed Grind. If I get the energy, I'll post a full review at some point.

Did you get to play with this in the last couple months? How is it working out?
