Oh no! There are dots everywhere :)

I ate a few Dots this weekend and had the idea, why not make a dotsy knife?! And I did :D
For those who don't know this dessert, it is basically a roll of sweet cheese with chocolate melted on it. It looks like dog poo, but mmmmm....it's delicious:

Hello everyone :)

I had another one of those traditional mental breezes not long time ago, so I quickly dressed up in my medieval outfit (which is a white linen shirt and a tan viking style trousers, shamelessly accompanied by my hiking gore-tex boots since I can't figure out how to make a proper turn-shoe :( -guess my leather is too thick, but I'm not sure, maybe I'm just clumsy) and I epicly traveled about 50 meters in the backyard, like Mel Gibson in Braveheart, when they ran on the mountain spine :D (how cool was that?!) to shoot a few arrows into the trunk of the old dried out appletree.
I felt myself pretty damn awesome 8), but the neighbours only saw an idiot running around in some rags :C and looking on their faces, they were seriously thinking about calling the asylum
Anyway, I managed not to massacre myself or my best friend, Lola with the bow :)

Ending up only with a few broken arrows (that apple tree proved to be quite a versatile opponent) and a nice idea of a medieval nordic styled knife. So after the glorious victory over the trunk I rushed to the shop and started to realize it.
And now behold the pics (cause I know, all you guys carry about is the pics :P )

And some specs:
-the full length is 26 cm.
-the blade is 14 cm long, 32 mm wide and 4 mm thick, forged of a 5160 steel core for the edge, mistery steel in the middle and wrought iron as the outer mantle. It has 5 layers in total!
-the handle is dark walnut and beech with carved knotwork.
-the sheath is hand stiched of veg tanned cow hide.

It is 220 usd, paypal is ok ;)

Hope you guys like it as I much as I enjoyed making it :)

You are consistently making some really cool and unique stuff, and this one is no exception. Looks like a really nice utility piece!

Your work is FANTASTIC---I swear Ragnar Lothbrok would've been proud to carry such a fine knife---and I'm totally serious;)

I absolutely love "Vikings" on the History channel:o
