Cool, mirror polished blades...might to cool to see a few left like that instead of coated. :D

I must say, I've no plans on getting a HEST/f but, I think I may have just shorted my keyboard drooling all over it. For those of you getting them they'll be sweet blades.

God bless,
Adam

Thanks for posting the pics Mr. RYP. One does not often get to see pics of the manufacturing process of most of the products they buy.

#43 will be replacing my Benchmade Griptilian I have been carrying for the last 4 years.

Wow!That's a lot of blades.Thanks for the teaser!:thumbup::D

the pics are pure sweetness! i wish there are pics of rowen's shop making esee blades too.

I don't even know what the parts are called - so clueless am I to a folding knife -
but I'm glad I have mine paid for. :)

The manufacturing process is important. A lot of time has been spent sweating every single detail, process, coating, part and using this knife to make sure the ergonomics and performance match my designs and demands. As I mentioned earlier I have been using and severely abusing a prototype for well over a month in probably the worst environment and I have been totally digging it (not to mention a few rebels, Generals, mercenaries and aid workers).

Gianni, Jeff and Tom all have the same commitment to seeing the DPx HEST/F be the knife that exceeds their expectations so I am also part of a team that has passion for quality and innovation. And perhaps more importantly all the new owners of this knife are also part of a small group of people who can say "Hey I bought this thing when it was just an idea". You won't be disappointed.

It's awesome to see the production photos. It shows just how much effort is going into making these folders! Thanks for sharing them with us, it really was a treat and I can't wait to have one in my hands!
