Dragonfly 2 Scale Change

So I've got a set of carbon fiber scales coming for my Emerson Dragonfly. (The horn-billed model)
Does anybody have any advice for a guy who's never dug deeper into a Spyderco; than changing where the pocket clip is mounted?
