Dual survival cancelled.

They all run their course. Teti killed or injured a dog on set apparently protecting a cat that was being chased or chomped on. I have mixed feelings.

Did he take it out with a spear and stand over it with that caveman look like he was guarding his kill from saber tooth cats in the DS episode:D

Man, that's the first thing I've seen, heard or read that makes my sympathetic to Joe Teti. It's a shame that the dog was injured or killed, but good on him for trying to protect an animal being attacked.

I won't miss the show, though. Mr. Canterbury may have been a dishonest SOB, but the interaction between him and Mr. Lundin were what made it worth watching. I lost interest almost immediately after he left.

Joe irritated me, but Matt was my favorite so far. I hope Matt shows up on something else in the future.

I'm not even gonna touch the dog incedent with a ten foot pole. I never liked Joe Teti at all from the first episode I saw with him. He's just kind of an ass and he takes stupid risks for the sake of entertainment. I haven't enjoyed that show since Dave Canterbury was on it.

As much as I tried to like Joe, his demeanor and aggressiveness turned me off from wanting to watch the show. I liked Matt, too bad they cancelled a show that just needed a different host.

I think the producers were looking for the opposite methods of survival that could bring controversy to make the show interesting to watch. While I think Matt and Cody would probably be good, they might not bring that spark that the show might need. But I admit that I would watch just to see how good they could do.

Joe Teti killed it. It became about his ego and the size of his wang more then anything else. As for the dog thing, lots of dumb there. Not like the world is hurting from the lack of cats. Or dogs for that matter. For me, Matt Graham was the only hope that show had. It should have started with him. Cody Lundien was definitely knowledgeable, as was Dave but in the end the passing contest was what the show was about, not the skills being demonstrated. I do hope there will be other opportunities to watch Matt do his thing. He is better off with out Dual Survival. Good riddance.

Discovery just wouldn't properly vet its "stars" (posers) on that show. It cancellation is no great loss to the what's available to idiot box viewers.

Cats? He should have aided that canine rather than tried to stop it. DC and Cody were the best despite DC's issues including blowing up his arm. It was like when they tried to replace the Duke boys with fake ones, no offense to Matt who seemed very knowledgeable. Like the Dukes the show was over once the original casting was changed.

I suspect the court thing with Mykel Hawke had something to do with it. What makes a outdoor survival expert? Someone who lives the life or has lived the life.... Cody Lundin and Matt Graham perhaps. Writes a book.... Lundin or Creek Stewart. Runs a survival school.... Cody Lundin, Dave Canterbury or Creek Stewart perhaps? Specials Forces experience..... Teti. For my part, Joe Teti was always an ass and probably did the bidding of the show producers to cause friction and I suspect he caused some on his own too. I much preferred Dave Canterbury over Teti regardless of his resume claims. I think Canterbury and Graham would make a good team.

Canterbury is just another poser who lied about his credentials to get the job.
