Mr. Levine has just informed me in his forum that the E. Weck Pearl Pen Knife I bought for $2 at a yard sale is a Schrade contract knife, here's a pic:

Anyone have any idea what the equivalent Schrade pattern would have been?

Could be many different ones but my guess.. The 7** series was very popular.
Looks like a M7936. (1936 supplentary catalog pg 93)
Senator pattern, sunk joint with shackle. 2 1/2" 2 blade MOP handle?
Also came with tips (bolsters) M7933T
Hope that helps a little

I am not sure what Mr Levine informed you of and I do not feel like looking it up. However Weck was a friend of George Schrade and did contract Schrade knives. I believe Weck was german so was Schrade and they originally worked out of Brooklyn. You do not give the size or number of blades but it is a simple bolsterless pen type 7786 with shackle style. or 7706 probably something with a 7 in front. LT

I'd say you got a bargain. Always fascinating for me to learn of another contract company.
Thanks for showing it off

Phil
