Up for sale is this early version of the Kershaw Amphibian boot or dive knife with its original fitted leather sheath. These knives were made for Kershaw in Japan in the 1980s and have been discontinued for some time. The knife is approximately 7-¾ inches in overall length with a double-edged stainless steel blade about 4 inches long with a central fuller on each side and one partially serrated edge. It features an integral double guard and skeletonized handle with a black rubber insert. It's marked “Kershaw / by Kai Japan” on one side of the ricasso and “Amphibian” on the other side (see photos).
The knife is in excellent unused and unsharpened condition with its original finish and factory edges (see photos). The black leather sheath is fitted to the guard and still tight with signs of age and use (see photos). It has a belt or boot clip on the back marked “Kershaw / Lake Oswego, OR. / 97034 U.S.A.” (see photos).
Asking price is $90.00, which includes shipping via USPS Ground Advantage anywhere in the continental US. Reasonable offers are welcome.
